I thought for sure Brett was going to whip out his switchblade for the whole 'cake-cutting ceremony'.
He was planning to, but I slipped it out of his coat pocket earlier. He later knifed me, but I was glad I took it. Apparently, he thought it was a Kyle cutting ceremony. I probably saved the life of more than one innocent partier that night.
