Calamites?

So I sat down to read Mark Chapter 13. I read the chapter heading:

Jesus tells of the calamites and signs preceding the Second Coming

I turned to my dear wife and asked,
"The calamites? I don't remember reading about the calamites, who are they?"

She didn't know either.
So I turned to the Bible Dictionary and found no listing.
I then turned to the Topical Guide and read:
Calamites See Jesus Christ, Second Coming; Last Days; Signs; World, End of

I then turned back to the chapter heading and saw that I was actually reading "calamites" incorrectly. The word was "calamities."

I need new glasses.

Who the heck is Secret Rapture?
The Calamites were an ancient Celtic people credited with inventing Calamine lotion. They used it to treat sunburn, eczema, rashes, poison ivy, chickenpox, insect bites and stings. It is used as a mild antiseptic to prevent infections that can be caused by scratching the affected area. It is also used to dry weeping or oozing blisters and acne abscesses. John

WRONG! The Calamites are those long pointy things that grow in caves.
