West Valley wife has a true hero...

About 10:30 Thursday night, police received a call that two men had forced their way into a house near 3300 South and 4400 West in West Valley City. Two men had knocked on the door of a house, and then forced their way in after a woman opened the door. When they first entered, the victim's dog attempted to intervene. They shot the dog (which later had to be euthanized because of its wounds). Both the husband and wife homeowners were bound by the armed intruders. One of the invaders took the husband around the house, forcing him to point out where valuables were located. At some point the husband was able to free himself, get the gun away from his captor and shoot that captor dead.

I say he's a stud. I like to think that I would do the same thing, only with my own gun and the dog doesn't die. John
