We recently acquired an Aroma 18 quart roaster oven. It has a small sheet of instructions for attaching the handle to the lid (not pictured):
HOW TO ASSEMBLY YOUR LID
1. Place the Handle on the lid.
2. Connect them with Screw, and make them integrated entity.

With instructions like that, I would make sure that it's not made of lead.
