Life in Sanpete County

The other day I was taking in the trash can of my elderly neighbor (Jenny) and overheard a conversation she was having with another elderly neighbor (Francis) about yet another elderly neighbor (Mary Ellen) who had died in her sleep Saturday night.

Francis: "I was looking for Mary Ellen at church on Sunday and couldn't find her."
Jenny: "THAT's because she was DEAD!"
