When I get to the Pearly Gates, if I see it's paved with linoleum, I'll know I've gone to the wrong place.
Our "new" hand-me-down dishwasher from John & Sunni, now installed and ready for washing dishes (what else?). I hope it lasts, because the (soon-to-be) elevated floor will not allow it to come out for replacement without taking off the countertop. Sheesh.
Tiles weighing down the thin metal strips that will hold the warming wire to the concrete. When the glue dries, the wire can be installed.
Installed wire-holding-strip, and a box of ceramic floor tile - imported from Italy.
One of two boxes of warming wire that will forever be entombed in mortar underneath the tile. It will be controlled by a thermostat and will, hopefully, take the chill off the ceramic tile in the winter. It may also aid in the warmth of the house, saving the furnace from coming on as frequently.
We shall see.
